Michael San Giacomo focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, including the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of office, industrial and retail properties. Michael also represents clients in the formation of commercial condominiums and the negotiation of joint venture agreements, construction and development service contracts, and brokerage agreements. Michael has extensive experience representing clients in tax deferred exchanges of real property. Michael has also worked closely with colleagues in the corporate practice group to counsel clients on real estate issues in connection with numerous mergers and acquisitions.
Michael recently represented a client in connection with the sale and leaseback of five manufacturing facilities for an aggregate sale price in excess of $40 million. Michael represents a different client in the acquisition and financing of properties for development as self-storage facilities, and represents the same client in connection with the disposition of completed self-storage facilities.
Michael’s broad leasing experience includes representing a developer in connection with the leasing of a 250,000 square foot warehouse facility. Michael recently assisted a tenant in the leasing of a 125,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility.
Michael recently closed several construction loans on behalf of a developer of self-storage facilities. Michael also recently assisted a client with the modification of a $30 million credit line, secured by multiple real properties.
