Venkatram Pepakayala assists the Intellectual Property team at Drinker in preparing patents and drafting responses for the USPTO and foreign patent offices. He has experience in the fields of electronics and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)-based technologies with special emphasis on biomedical applications. During his Ph.D. studies, he focused on developing novel sensors and actuators using magnetoelastic materials. Venkatram’s research has resulted in numerous articles in peer reviewed engineering journals and two patent applications.
