Eric J. Lorenz is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker who assists clients with compliance related to importing merchandise into the United States, as regulated by U.S. Customs and other government entities. Eric has experience in international trade compliance involving entry procedures, admissibility requirements, classification, valuation, and the rates of applicable taxes and fees. He is active in managing post-entry adjustments, protests, prior disclosures, tariff classification reviews, and other compliance requirements.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric worked for a customs broker and then as an international trade compliance lead for two large manufacturing corporations, developing innovative trade compliance processes for internal controls focusing on classification, valuation and the rates of applicable taxes and fees for imported/exported products. His comprehensive experiences in several industries, including medical devices and heavy machinery, have allowed him to develop a large base of useful compliance standards and best practices.
