Nicole A. Bayman represents clients in a variety of complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing, as well as land use planning and development, redevelopment and real estate litigation matters. In addition, Nicole is proficient in real property tax matters.
Following law school, Nicole served as law clerk to the Hon. Harold A. Kuskin, J.T.C. in the Tax Court of New Jersey.
Nicole has played a leading role in representing a variety of clients before municipal land use boards, for zoning approvals, site plan approvals, variances and waivers, including: Princeton University, the Jets football franchise and numerous industrial warehouse and office park developers. She has represented clients in significant redevelopment projects, including PILOT agreements and bond financing.
Nicole has advised hotels, commercial and retail properties, residential properties, homebuilders, construction and property developers and lenders in complex financial transactions. Her work has included representing clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting, closing, and servicing a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including the origination of senior and junior mortgage loans, development and construction loans, bridge loans, loans for securitization, mezzanine loans and loan modifications.
Nicole has also counseled clients in all aspects of property tax litigation, including analyzing current real estate assessments, communications with local assessors and property tax appeals before County Boards of Taxation and the New Jersey Tax Court
