Kadene K. Chin is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of complex civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels.
Products Liability. Kadene represents pharmaceutical and medical device companies in personal injury cases and mass tort litigation involving over-the-counter and prescription drugs and medical equipment. Currently, she is defending a major pharmaceutical company in several complex personal injury cases at various stages of litigation in federal and state courts.
Contractual Disputes. Kadene represents several corporate and individual clients in contractual disputes involving intellectual property rights, real estate transactions, and purchase and service agreements.
Pro Bono Matters. Kadene has a varied pro bono practice. She has represented clients in divorce actions, Section 1983 litigation, and cases brought before administrative agencies.
In General. Prior to joining the Firm, Kadene clerked for the Honorable Petrese B. Tucker of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2007, where she was lead research editor for the Temple Law Review and received the Barrister’s Award for outstanding oral advocacy in the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. Kadene graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and minors in psychology and Spanish.
