Tiffany Carr Forte is an associate in the firm’s Health Care Practice Group, where she advises clients on all aspects of federal income tax and tax exemption.
Tiffany advises clients on initial and continuing qualification for exemption at the federal and state levels. She counsels hospitals, other charitable foundations and trade associations on a wide range of issues affecting exempt organizations, including unrelated business income tax exposure, employment taxes, lobbying and political expenditures, intermediate sanctions excise tax and information reporting requirements. Tiffany represents clients before the IRS, preparing and submitting applications for recognition of exemption as well as letter ruling requests. She also assists clients with administrative appeals of federal and state and local tax controversies.
In General. Tiffany earned her J.D., with high honors, from Emory University School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and business editor of the Emory Law Journal. She also earned her M.B.A. from Emory University Goizueta Business School. Tiffany earned her bachelor’s degree, with highest honors, from La Salle University.
