Nancy P. O’Hara is counsel in the firm's nationally ranked Investment Management Practice Group.
Investment Companies. Nancy has more than a ten years of experience counselling organizations in the investment management industry, including open-end and closed-end investment companies and their boards, investment advisers and broker-dealers. She advises clients on day-to-day matters, as well as all aspects of fund formation, reorganization and wind-up arising under the federal securities laws, stock exchange regulations and general business matters. Nancy has drafted, reviewed and provided advice on registration and proxy statements and other securities and stock exchange filings, compliance policies and procedures, counseled fund boards and related parties on fund governance and fiduciary duties, and negotiated contracts.
In General. Nancy graduated,
magna cum laude, from Susquehanna University with a bachelor's degree in political science. She received her law degree,
cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law, where she was a case and comment editor for the
Villanova Law Review. Nancy also has five years of litigation experience.
She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
