Howard Blum Named 2011 Client Service All-Star

BTI Consulting recently announced the roster of 2011 Client Service All-Stars and Philadelphia partner Howard Blum made the team of 318 lawyers from across the country who have impressed corporate counsel with their keen understanding of business issues, thought-leading approach and total commitment to client needs — particularly during these times when client dollars are scarce but demands are high.

Howard, a partner in the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice Group and a former managing partner, is one of just four lawyers from Philadelphia who have received this honor, which is bestowed solely and exclusively by corporate counsel. The only way to be included in The BTI Client Service All-Stars is through an unprompted, unequivocal recommendation from corporate counsel. No law firm or lawyer can submit a name or pay to be included on this list, nor can a firm nominate a lawyer or submit corporate counsel names to be interviewed.

BTI Consulting has been conducting independent interviews of corporate counsel for the past 10 years; its research has consistently shown that five factors drive a reputation for great client service:

  • Client Focus;

  • Exceptional Understanding of the Client’s Business;

  • Outstanding Results;

  • Outsized Value; and

  • Legal Skills.
