Of Counsel

Kenneth C. Robbins is of counsel in the firm's Health Care Practice Group.  He joined Drinker Biddle from the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA), from which he retired after first serving as general counsel and then as president and chief executive officer for the last 26 years.  Prior to joining IHA as vice president and general counsel in 1976, Ken was legal counsel and staff director for the Committee on Government Regulation of the Massachusetts Legislature and a partner in a Boston law firm.  He also served for 29 years as Colonel and Judge Advocate General of the Illinois Air National Guard and United States Air Force.

Ken belongs to the Illinois Association of Hospital Attorneys, has served as a member of the Health Issues Study Society and the State Hospital Association Executives Forum, and has served on the boards of numerous industry and community organizations.
