Justin D.G. Brennan joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and is a member of the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group.

Justin represents both private and public company clients in a variety of matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, securities law compliance and general corporate matters. 

Representative Matters:
  • A clinical research organization in a $100 million merger with a special purpose acquisition company listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM;
  • Private equity funds in various acquisitions ranging from $8 to $65 million;
  • A privately held wealth advisory and investment management firm in its sale to a publicly held wealth management group;
  • A global utility meter solutions company in the acquisition of a regional meter manufacturer;
  • The $750 million initial public offering of an Indian real estate developer on the London Stock Exchange's AIM;
  • Various public reporting companies regarding SEC reporting obligations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and general corporate matters.

In General.  Justin earned his A.B. from Kenyon College in 1996, an Sc.M. in molecular microbiology and immunology from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in 2000, and his J.D. in 2006 from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
 
Prior to joining the Corporate and Securities Group, Justin was a patent agent in Drinker Biddle's Intellectual Property Group where his practice focused on biotechnology inventions.  Prior to his legal career, Justin researched infectious diseases, cancer, and vaccine development at various academic institutions and biotech companies.  Justin is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
