Over the course of commercial service transactions, parties can run into issues relating to the intersection of additional insurance coverage and contractual indemnity. In this article, Alex explores the relationship between contractual indemnity provisions and coverage created by additional insured endorsements, as well as the impact both may have on the duties to defend and indemnify, the scope of such coverages, priority of coverage, and limits of insurance.
