Washington, D.C. partner Laura Phillips and associate Anthony Glosson contributed to a Practising Law Institute (PLI) treatise titled, Looking Ahead: The Impact of the 2016 Election on Key Legal Issues, in which expert authors provide predictions and analysis on a variety of topics that may be affected by the recent changes in our political climate.

In their chapter, “Looking Ahead to the Effects of the Administration Change in 2017: Communications,” Laura and Anthony examine several areas that appear most likely to undergo review or change during 2017, including the FCC’s regulatory reclassification of broadband Internet access services (BIAS), reassessment of the need for FCC-specific broadband privacy regulations and the conclusion of the 600 MHz band incentive auction and necessary implementation actions, among other topics.
