Partners Kate Deal, Seamus Duffy, Matt Fedor and Meredith Slawe published an article titled “Biometrics - The Next Wave of Privacy Class Actions” in the Association of Corporate Counsel, Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s December 2015 Newsletter.  This article addresses recent litigation under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and the requirements for businesses to comply with this statute, which applies to biological data that can be used to identify a person, such as retina and iris scans, fingerprints, voiceprints and facial scans.
