On November 18, 2015, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted affirmative in connection with its final injury investigation on supercalendered paper from Canada.  The ITC commissioners unanimously determined (with one commissioner recused) that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of subject merchandise from Canada that the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) had found to be subsidized.

As a result, the DOC will issue a countervailing duty order on supercalendered paper from Canada.
