Philadelphia associate Paula M. Jones recently authored an article for The Legal Intelligencer titled, “Top International Estate Planning Issues for Advisers” on February 4.

The article discusses the increase in wealthy multinational individuals and the estate planning issues specific to this unique population.

Paula discusses why wealth advisers should be aware of the basis for U.S. federal income and estate taxation in the international context and provides an overview of four more of the top planning issues in international estate planning, which are:

  3. Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative; and
