Philadelphia associate Debora Plehn-Dujowich wrote an article for the Spring 2012 issue of the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) Business Casual – the official newsletter of the New Lawyers Committee.

Debora, a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, described her experience at the October 2011 AIPLA Annual Meeting, which was her first ever as a new member.

Debora discussed meeting other AIPLA members face-to-face and the variety of backgrounds from which they came, including members from all over the world.

She also described how she set up the AIPLA Women in IP blog, which promotes the activities of the committee.

Debora described the AIPLA annual meeting as “a very enriching and rewarding experience” and highly recommended it to others, “especially to other new members.”
