Washington, D.C. Of Counsel Lee Petro has been elected as President Elect of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA). Under the three-year term, Lee will serve as President Elect from July 2017 to June 2018, President from July 2018 to June 2019, and Ex Officio President from July 2019 to June 2020.
The FCBA has more than 2,000 members, including lawyers, engineers, consultants, economists and government officials, involved in the development, interpretation and practice of communications law and policy.
Lee previously served as Treasurer of the FCBA, and before that served as Assistant Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and chairman of the FCBA's charitable arm, the FCBA Foundation. Lee is also Chair of the Annual FCBA Golf Tournament, which raises funds for scholarships for high school students . He was named the Foundation’s Volunteer of the Year in 2013.
