Los Angeles partner Sheldon Eisenberg, chair of Drinker Biddle’s Entertainment Litigation Team, was noted as a top litigator in Variety’s Legal Impact Report 2017.

The report recognizes top in-house attorneys, litigators and transactional lawyers in the entertainment industry who have had a significant impact on the industry over the last year. Winners will be honored at the “Power of Law” breakfast on April 6, 2017.

Sheldon was recognized for his work in major matters including representing a leading TV showrunner in an arbitration over termination compensation; defending Mark Gordon Company and Mark Gordon in a theft-of-idea claim; and handling a name/likeness dispute on behalf of a well-known showrunner.

For more than 30 years, Sheldon has provided litigation counsel to Hollywood studios, producers and writers, production and media companies, and literary and talent agencies.

Sheldon has been named by Los Angeles Magazine and Law & Politics as one of Southern California’s Super Lawyers since 2004. He has also dedicated his time towards serving as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Municipal Court, and is currently a volunteer arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association Fee Arbitration Program.
