Partner and co-head of the firm’s Insurance Transactional and Regulatory Team Thomas M. Dawson was quoted in an article in The Wall Street Journal titled “Fed Pulls Overseers From MetLife in Wake of Ruling.” The article examined the recent judgement that rescinded federal oversight of MetLife.

Tom discussed how “Courts are very punctilious about agencies following process and clearly basing their decision on all relevant facts.” He also said, “Generally, courts give the agencies a second bite at the apple.”
