Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has announced that Denise Kaloudis has joined the firm as a Business Development Director, residing in the New York City office.

Denise brings nearly 15 years of legal industry and business development experience to the firm. She will support key financial services practices including the Corporate Restructuring, Investment Management, Insurance Coverage, and Insurance Transactional and Regulatory practice groups.

Previously, Denise served as a corporate restructuring attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP and Akin Grump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, where she represented sophisticated clients in complex, high-profile Chapter 11 cases. Her experience encompasses a variety of industries, including commercial real estate, automotive, retail, financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Denise was a business development senior consultant at a company providing legal administrative services, where she primarily worked with the restructuring practice and led efforts to obtain new business and build relationships with current and prospective clients.

Denise is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the New York State Bar Association. She earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School and her bachelor’s degree from New York University.
