Alumnus and current head of Investement Banking at Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., L..L.C. in Oakland, CA, Gary Hall, has been elected to The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and will begin his term on October 1, 2014. The Board makes policy decisions, authorizes rulemaking and oversees the MSRB’s operations. Kym Arnone, Managing Director at Barclays, will serve as Chair of the MSRB for Fiscal Year 2015.

Gary joined Siebert Brandford Shank & Co., L..L.C. in June 2013. Before assuming his current role with the company, Gary served as Executive Director in the Public Finance – Investment Banking Group of JPMorgan Securities LLC, He also spent time as a White House Fellow assigned to the Under Secretary for Domestic Finance for the U.S. Department of Treasury in President Bill Clinton's administration and served in the administration of former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. Gary began his legal career at Gardner, Carton & Douglas in the Chicago office and was a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group.

Gary received a B.B.A in Finance from Howard University and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
