The article discusses the efforts of Satori Investment Partners LLC's to distinguish themselves as a softer, more “sustainable” hedge fund and distinct from the megalomaniac stereotypes.
By setting themselves apart, Satori hopes to gain a foothold in the hedge fund industry. David, who has long worked with hedge funds, said that while it's easy to launch a fund, the challenge is luring investors. “It's just hard to be successful, to attract the capital necessary to make it a viable concern,” he said.
