Womenetics created the annual POW! Awards to honor women who have demonstrated game changing leadership in business and their communities. These awards celebrate women who are catalysts, trailblazers and game changes. This year, our very own Leslie Davis was among the 12 honorees of the Womenetics 2014 Chicago POW! Awards held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

Womenetics is a community of businesswomen eager to risk boldly, lead unapologetically and succeed gracefully and who are bound by a single goal - to use their lives to lead, to create impact, to improve the companies that employ them and the communities in which they serve.

The community provides high caliber content, programs and services to accelerate business by advancing women leaders. Womenetics introduces career women to issues that impact, ideas that inspire, individuals that lead and institutions that matter.

In the workplace, Leslie concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation for global Fortune 500 companies and institutions. Leslie has been named as one of The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin "40 Attorneys Under 40 to Watch" in Illinois and was recently appointed by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to the City of Chicago Community Development Commission. In the community, Leslie serves on the board of directors for Legacy Charter School and Mt. Sinai Health Systems and actively fundraises for the American Diabetes Association. Leslie is also a strong advocate for African-American lawyers and serves as a member to several female associations inside Drinker Biddle and in the larger legal community.

Please join us in congratulating Leslie!
