Chicago partner Jesse Ruiz was announced as a member of the 2014 Fellows Class for Leadership Greater Chicago. The class is comprised of 37 diverse leaders representing business, civic, nonprofit and government sectors.

The Fellows program provides a foundation for a lifelong commitment to civic engagement by educating members about issues facing the Chicago region and challenges leaders to bring positive change in the community.

Those selected were nominated by civic and business leaders and chosen based on their dedication to effective leadership and community service, career achievements and their commitment to leadership in Chicago’s civic area. Jesse was nominated by Anne Pramaggiore, CEO of Commonwealth Edison, and Andrea Zopp, President of the Chicago Urban League, and former General Counsel of Exelon and Sears Holdings.

Among the 2014 Fellows Class are executives from Advocate Condell Medical Center, Allstate, Ariel Investments, Boston Consulting Group, BMO Harris Bank, Deloitte, IllinoisVENTURES, LLC, Lurie Children’s Hospital, McDonald’s, Northern Trust, People’s Gas, William Blair & Company, and W.W. Grainger.
