Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP today announced a relocation of their New Jersey offices to 600 Campus Drive, in Florham Park, New Jersey. With the largest presence in the state among Am Law 100 firms, this move represents a significant and longterm recommitment to New Jersey.
“Drinker Biddle has a long and storied history in New Jersey,” said Andrew Joseph, the partner in charge of the Florham Park Office. The firm has operated in the Garden State since the 1930’s when it was founded by Bernard M. Shanley. The firm came to be known as Shanley & Fisher and combined with Drinker Biddle in 1999. Joseph adds, “We are incredibly excited about our new space and the opportunity to continue providing exceptional legal service and meaningful public service in New Jersey.”
Drinker Biddle will occupy approximately 60,000 square feet in the building, comprising two and a quarter floors. The space will feature a state of the art conference center, and a floor plan designed in accordance with the firm’s national plan for space usage, which was designed to respond quickly to growth and reduce long-term cost of modification. The plan for the new space incorporates and promotes sustainability, maximizes access to daylight and views, reduces paper files, and works towards LEED Silver compliance.
Construction of Drinker Biddle’s new offices will begin in the fall, and the firm expects to move in early 2014.
“This new space will allow us to more efficiently serve our clients,” said Joseph. “With a more streamlined office and these new state of the art features, we can focus on a better overall experience and providing better services.”
The lease is through KBS Real Estate Investment Trust, and the new landlord will be CB Richard Ellis.
