Shawn Tucker's interactions with a concerned citizens group in Delaware were highlighted in a May 26 Wilmington News Journal article.

The article, “Wal-Mart eyes larger Newport store,” noted that Shawn has met with a concerned group of citizens regarding Wal-Mart’s plans to expand its current store in Newport, Del., to increase the selection of grocery items.

Shawn is representing Wal-Mart in the project, which requires approval from New Castle County. In the course of that work, he has been working with a local group of residents who reside in a 10-house cul-de-sac closest to the planned parking lot, the article noted. According to Kim Tielleman, who represents the group, “Shawn has been nothing but informative and has met with us two or three times, addressing our concerns and going over the whole thing of what they plan to do.”
