Albany associate Rachel Ryan was profiled in an Albany Times Union article titled, “My Other Life.”
The article notes that Rachel has always risen to the top, her most recent accomplishment being elected as the new President of Shaker Ridge Country Club Board of Governors, where she has been a member since 2008.
Rachel, the club’s first female president, described her passion for golf – a pastime she shares with her husband and five-year-old son Aidan. She also described how taking clients golfing provides an invaluable opportunity to “build better relationships.”
She said her main goal as Shaker Ridge president is to build a larger and stronger membership. She also said she believes that as the number of women playing golf increases, we will begin to see more women taking leadership roles in golf clubs.
