Washington, D.C. partner and Chief Data Scientist Bennett Borden provided keynote remarks on day two of the 2017 Data Summit.

In a presentation titled "Information Governance Meets Big Data Analytics," Bennett outlined the application of big data analytics and information governance for maximizing the value of information while minimizing risks and costs.

Bennett also discussed the ethics of privacy when algorithms collect information without the knowledge or consent of an individual, and explained why the individual has ultimate responsibility for defining reasonable conduct to shape future laws and regulations on privacy.
