Ted Becker was Moderator of the program “ESOP Basics for Employee Owners” sponsored by Drinker Biddle the day before the 2017 NCEO Employee Ownership Conference held in Denver on April 4-6. Ted and Howard Levine presented a session on “What Does It Mean to Be an ESOP Participant?”

Ted and Rick Pearl spoke at the conference. Ted presented a session on “Department of Labor Investigations: What to Expect and How to Prepare,” and he led an expert roundtable on DOL Investigations. Rick presented a session on “Insurance and Indemnification Programs for ESOPs: Managing Your Risk.”

The conference was attended by more than 1,700 members of companies with Employee Stock Ownership Plans and service providers.
