Philadelphia partner Bill McSwain moderated a panel discussion on “Executive Power in the Age of Trump” on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the federal courthouse in Philadelphia. The program, presented by the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, along with the Philadelphia Lawyers’ chapter of The Federalist Society, brought together constitutional scholars and former presidential advisors to discuss how executive power may take shape under the new Administration.

Panelists included Drinker Biddle alumnus Scott Coffina, Senior Deputy Chief Counsel to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Associate Counsel to President George W. Bush; Michael Moreland, Professor of Law at Villanova University and former Associate Director for Domestic Policy for President George W. Bush; and Mark Rahdert, Professor of Law at Temple University.
