Information Privacy, Security and Governance Symposium

Overview

Drinker Biddle’s Information Privacy, Security and Governance (IPSG) team hosted an interactive session to learn about the benefits and pitfalls of collecting and using Big Data. The session discussed innovative ways companies are using Big Data to their advantage, as well as how to best navigate the privacy, data security and information governance challenges that the use of Big Data creates—across a range of industries.

This interactive session highlighted:

  • The phenomenon of Big Data.
  • The fragmented regulatory landscape, including industry-specific privacy and security regulations.
  • Best practices for taking advantage of the opportunists and avoiding the risks associated with Big Data.
