Chicago Customs and International Trade partner Kathi Murphy presented at the Midwest Global Trade Association’s (MGTA) event on “CBP’s Trade Transformation Initiatives.”

In her presentation, Kathi focused on the need for trading partners to not only expedite the flow of legitimate commerce, but also to ensure supply chain resilience in times of disaster, disruption or service failures. To achieve these supply chain resilience goals, Kathi referenced a series of “Trade Transformation” initiatives implemented by U.S. Customs and Border Protection as best practices. Based on Kathi’s experience counseling a wide and diverse client base, she was able to share valuable industry knowledge with attendees.
