Florham Park senior attorney Melissa Provost spoke at the New Jersey Hispanic Bar Association’s (NJHBA) 2016 Women’s Empowerment Leadership & Law Conference, held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey on March 12, 2016.

The NJHBA is a non-profit association comprised of attorneys, judges, law professors, law students, and other professionals who share a common interest in addressing the issues affecting Hispanics within the legal community. The Women’s Empowerment Leadership & Law Conference gives those professionals a chance to learn from seasoned and accomplished women on how to navigate and advance within the legal profession. Melissa was part of a conference panel that focused on how to be a successful trial attorney. Melissa discussed that the keys to success are:

  • Be prepared.  Always, no exceptions.
  • Practice with integrity.
  • Be authentic.
  • Work hard.  Work smart.
  • Embrace who you are.
