Patentability and Patent Extension of New Use and New Dosage Regimen for Existing Drugs

Overview

Washington, D.C., partner and co-chair of the IP Group Bob Stoll spoke at a conference sponsored by Washington University and the Gates Foundation on December 4 in Seattle. Approximately 250 participants from the BIO and Pharma industry attended the conference, titled “The Future of Innovation in Medicine.”

Bob’s panel was titled “Patentability and Patent Extension of New Use and New Dosage Regimen for Existing Drugs.”   Bob focused his talk on patent subject matter eligibility issues in the United States.
