Chicago partner Darren Cahr spoke at the Intellectual Property Owners Association 2015 annual meeting on September 29. This year’s meeting offered a mix of educational programs led by distinguished presenters, committee meetings, exhibits and networking functions.

Darren’s session was titled, “Ethics in Social Media Controversies.” Topics included lawyers’ use of social media, data privacy, the duty of confidentiality and more.

Darren was joined by Matthew Chung of IBM Corporation and Evan Gourvitz of Ropes & Gray.
