On July 23, Washington, D.C. of counsel Jason R. Baron spoke at the Joint Annual Meeting of the National Association of Government Archives & Records Administrations and Council of State Archivists. The annual meeting serves as an inspiring conference attended by Federal, state and local government archivists, records managers and information professionals from all over the United States.

Jason's presentation, titled, "Public Records on Private Networks: Issues & Controversies," discussed the growing use of "shadow IT" as an issue of concern to open government, and proposed that public sector institutions confront the challenges posed as a matter of information governance.
