Washington, DC  Of Counsel Janet Fries was the moderator of a panel discussion at the American Bar Association’s 30th Annual Intellectual Property Law Conference on Thursday, March 26, in Maryland. 

Janet’s program, titled “Update from the US Copyright Office – Updating the Office for the 21st Century,” addressed upgrading the Office and issues in registration practice covered by the new Compendium; pending new regulations relating to registration; and technological changes to the registration system needed and/or planned.
