Washington, D.C., partner Mercedes Meyer participated in a panel at the “Impact of the Supreme Court on Patent Enforcement” conference on Thursday, November 13.

As more and more patent cases are decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, the complex issues at hand warrant in-depth analysis and discussion. Recovery of attorney fees, proving induced infringement, whether abstract ideas are patent ineligible, and the standard for determining indefiniteness have all been major components of recent decisions.

The faculty that presented at this one-day conference explored these issues in detail.
