Washington, D.C., partner Bob Skitol gave a significant lecture at Susquehanna University’s Arlin M. Adams Center for Law & Society on October 30, 2014.
The lecture, titled, “Trust Me? The Shifting Sands of Antitrust Law and Policy, 1890–2014,” combined elements of Bob’s antitrust law practice and lifelong study of American history.
Bob examined the vital but underappreciated role that antitrust law and policy have played in the economic, political and social evolution of our society. He also explored the importance of antitrust policy to the preservation of democratic values and democracy itself, in addition to the threat presented to these values when antitrust enforcement is in remission.
