Washington D.C. partner Mike Remington participated in a panel titled, “Significant Recent Developments: Internet and Copyright,” in Toronto, Canada, on Tuesday, September 17.

Mike spoke alongside Barry Sookman, partner at McCarthy Tetrault in Toronto, in a discussion moderated by Howard Miller, partner at Girardi Keese in Los Angeles. The audience at the conference had a fair number of Canadian and American judges.

The event, sponsored by the Federal Circuit Bar Association, included presentations on innovation and economies; internet, patents, and copyright litigation; government contracting and defense procurement; international trade and the free trade act; and views from the patent offices and the courts.
