On March 20, 2013, Ilisa Halpern Paul, Managing Government Relations Director of Drinker Biddle’s Lobbying and Advocacy Team, spoke to a select group of ovarian cancer survivors and advocates who traveled to Washington, DC to participate in an advocacy leadership program for long-standing client, Ovarian Cancer National Alliance.  Her speech, titled, "What's Happening on Capitol Hill & Why Your Voice Matters," included an update on the national political and policy environment and a discussion of how constituents can influence the policy process.

The Alliance is the nation's foremost advocate for women and families affected by ovarian cancer, the deadliest of gynecologic cancers.
