Washington, D.C., of counsel Lee Petro testified before the Judiciary Committee of the Maryland House of Delegates on Tuesday, March 12.

Lee spoke about new proposed legislation for Maryland that would lower the rates charged to Maryland prison inmates and eliminate the commission that telephone companies pay to the Department of Public Safety out of the revenue earned from the calls.

Delegate Jill P. Carter, the sponsor of the legislation, asked Lee to speak in support of the bill.
