Washington, D.C., partner Mercedes Meyer participated in a panel discussion at the American Intellectual Property Law Association Mid-Winter Institute in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

 The panel discussion was titled “Managing a Project” and featured perspectives from a large law firm, a small business and a large business.    

 The session addressed the many complexities of managing projects in a complex legal environment including: forming a complementary team from support staff to lead counsel; building  a team and getting its loyalty;  effective, efficient delegation; and mentoring and performance management.
