Jeremy Scott, a Government Relations Director in the Washington, D.C., office, gave a presentation titled “Using Social Media to Advance Your Health Policy Agenda on Capitol Hill” at the 37th Annual Association of Rehabilitation Nurses Educational Conference on October 3, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The annual conference aims to inform members of recent developments in the field of rehabilitation nursing. Jeremy's presentation focused on explaining what social media is, how Members of Congress are utilizing it, and how the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses can use it to engage their members in grassroots advocacy. Over 275 rehabilitation nurses attended the presentation.

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses is a professional nursing organization of more than 5,000 that promotes and advances professional rehabilitation nursing practice through education, advocacy, collaboration, and research to enhance the quality of life for those affected by disability and chronic illness.
