John Marshall, of counsel to the Philadelphia office, spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s CLE course, “The Changing Face of U.S. Patent Law,” Monday, Oct. 17 in Allentown, PA.

The America Invents Act was signed by President Barack Obama on Sept. 16; it brings sweeping changes to the patenting process, the operation of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is the first major change to U.S. patent law in 60 years.

The seminar involved an introductory examination of the Act and how it will affect participants’ firm, companies, and clients.
