Philadelphia partner Seamus Duffy and counsel Susan Roach will present at the 7th annual CLE Class Actions Conference in San Francisco, Ca., May 12-13, 2011.  The event will feature prominent lawyers, judges and administrators from across the country who will provide the latest updates from both the defense and plaintiff perspectives.

Seamus, a member of the Communications Litigation Practice Group, is co-chair of the conference, which will feature panel discussions focusing on a host of hot topics in class action litigation, including the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court's April 27, 2011, decision in Concepcion v. AT&T, recent developments in class certification law and practice, and the future of state court class actions.

Susan, also a member of the Communications Litigation Practice Group, will speak on a panel discussion of “Precertification Strategies and Tactics,” including threshold dispositive motions, the impact of the Class Action Fairness Act and precertification discovery.
