Washington D.C., partner Mark Dever moderated a panel presentation and discussion with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on March 31, 2011, in the firm’s Princeton office. The presentation addressed the transition to IP Networks that will require difficult decisions about the Universal Service Fund and inter-carrier compensation. It also covered the wireless broadband industry’s need for more spectrum and how these needs will be addressed through the broadcasters, the federal government and improved sharing techniques.
Mark, a partner in the Government & Regulatory Affairs Practice Group and a member of the Telecommunications and Mass Media Team, moderated the panel discussion. Paul de Sa, Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis, Federal Communications Commission, presented the event.
