Associate

Gina Armstrong is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. She focuses her practice on advising companies in a variety of commercial and public finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurial matters, divestiture of assets, joint ventures, outsourcing and servicing arrangements, and general business counseling.

Gina advises clients on all forms of commercial contracts and represents clients in a broad range of industries, including finance, specialty mineral mining, special product packaging, educational publishing and supply, radio broadcasting, consumer products and senior housing and assisted living facilities.

In addition to general business counseling, Gina represents secured and unsecured lenders, trade creditors and borrowers in all types of commercial loan transactions, from widely syndicated, multicurrency credit facilities to fully secured asset-based loans. In addition, she counsels and represents clients in the restructuring and modification of secured, unsecured, asset-based, real estate and subordinated loans.

In General. Before attending law school, Gina was a corporate loan officer working in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, general corporate finance, asset-based lending and project finance. Gina received her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School in 1992, where she was an articles editor of the New York Law School Journal of Human Rights.  After law school, Gina was an associate in the Corporate Department of Whitman, Breed Abbott and Morgan in New York City where her practice focused on general corporate matters and transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and structured finance.

Affiliations.  Gina is admitted to the New York State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association.
