World IP Forum — Shaping the Future of IP

On October 10-12, 2022, Faegre Drinker Partner and Deputy Chair of the IP Group Bob Stoll participated ln a seminar in Bangkok, Thailand entitled "World IP Forum — Shaping the Future of IP.” Bob participated on three separate panels and was awarded an "Influential Leader of All Time" award by the organization. As a guest of honor, Bob spoke at the opening plenary about ways of getting more people in every country to participate in the creation of intellectual property. Bob also participated in another plenary session with retired Judge Gerald Rosen (now a mediator with JAMS) and Patrick Coyne (Finnegan and current AIPLA President) which was moderated by Matt Ryan (Haug) entitled "How to Increase Your Likelihood of Success and Manage Costs in US Infringement Litigation." Bob also participated in a breakout session moderated by Patrick Coyne entitled "What Countries Need to Do to Use the IP System to Foster Innovation and Economic Development.”
