Associate

Elizabeth D. Battreall is an associate in the firm's Health Care Practice Group. 

Elizabeth's practice includes all aspects of corporate and transactional law for the health care industry, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities offerings, corporate structure and planning, and managed care contracting. She represents health care organizations in the procurement of clinical information systems, outsourcing matters, and software system licensing and support issues. Elizabeth's experience also includes advising clients with regard to regulatory and reimbursement issues, fraud and abuse issues, and nonprofit tax exemption matters. Her clients include hospitals, health care systems, HMOs, physician groups, ancillary providers of health care services and investors involved in the health care industry.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Elizabeth was associate general counsel at eLink Communications, Inc.
